Story Hour

Every Wednesday

Story Hour is held every Wednesday morning, September through May.

*May 2026, the library will be closed for new paint & flooring. Story Hour will resume in September.

Summer Reading Program

every tuesday in June

A childrens’ reading program is held every Tuesday in June.

2:00 – 3:00 P.M.

All area children entering kindergarten through 6th grade are welcome!

Family Reading Night

Thursday, NOVEMBER 19, 2026

One night each November is set aside to celebrate “Family Reading Night,” a national event sponsored by the library. It encourages families to spend quality time reading together. Entertainment & refreshments are provided for all area families.

Teen Book-to-Movie Night

TBD August 2026

In May, the library will offer reading logs and assistance in requesting multiple copies of a selected book. Teens who participate will have the entire summer to read and finish the book. During the first week of August, the library will host a movie night featuring the film adaptation, along with drinks, popcorn, and snacks.

To ensure we can provide enough snacks, registration for the movie night is required.

Senior Citizen Services

by appointment

Thirty minute appointments are available to Senior Citizens who wish to learn how to perform basic tasks on the computer, such as creating a document, sending an email, printing, etc…
